Til Death Do Us Part By Stephanie Ayers Genre: Mystery, Thriller & Suspense Short Reads Would you wear this ring?

When Ian buys Elizabeth a Tiffany's engagement ring, he unwittingly sets off a series of deadly events as the ring goes full circle -- passing through the hands of a hopeful co-worker, a young delivery boy, a beloved daughter and her father, a drug addicted twin brother, a drug dealer, and a pawn shop -- to be reunited with its intended. If you are looking for a quick read that will keep you on the edge of your seat Till Death Do Us Part is it. It didn't take me long to get hooked. The further I got into the story, the faster I read.

Night Stalker Dead Oaks Terror Series (Book Three) By Rena Marin and Skylar McKinzie Genre: Occult Horror Tiffany Reynolds has heard enough about the creepy scarecrow her brother and his friends made to enter in the local craft fair. The more she sees it, the stranger it seems. Sometimes it's in different places, like it moves on its own. Its eyes seem to follow her around the room. Its face is becoming more terrifying. Something isn't right with her brother's new obsession but with her friends being stalked by something sinister lurking in the shadows, Tiffany has other things to worry about. Who is the night stalker of Dead Oaks and who will be the next to meet their end? These two gals are total perfection when it comes to giving you chills. Dead Oaks is surrounded by darkness, mystery, and strange happenings all of which you will get to experience in Night Stalker. The Dead Oaks Series could be standalones but I recommend checking all of them out. If you want to read them in order. Halloween Nightmares, Ouija, Night Stalker, Curse of the Candy Corn Queen. There are also other twisted tales available in this series too. The newest one Oh, Deadly Night is currently on preorder.

Day Care By Tim Miller Genre: Horror Suspense Sam Snider runs her own home day care program with several kids. With the help of teenager, Freya and her older sister June, things run quite smoothly. Until one day when a group of men break into her home demanding to know where her husband hid his drug money. The only problem: Sam doesn’t have a husband or drug money. Cornered and trapped like a pack of animals, their captors become more dangerous and erratic as time goes on, leading to a police standoff. Sam, Freya and June will do whatever it takes to protect the kids and survive! If you love horror this is one you definitely need to check out. This was my first read from Tim Miller and I was absolutely blown away. Day Care is intense, thrilling, and hard to put down. The ending on this was incredible! I feel like this should be a movie.

So Long, John The Donut Shop Series Book 12 By Laney Smith Genre: Suspense Short Reads Ten years!

That’s how long it had been since John Miller’s eight-year-old body was dragged from the pond on that eerie, cold, foggy morning. Ten years was how long John’s step-father had been sitting on death row for John’s murder.

Ten! Long! Years!

John’s step-father had nothing to do with John’s death. For ten years, I’ve known the truth that could set an innocent man free. However, I had reasons of my own for keeping the truth about John’s death a secret.

The truth started haunting me and I couldn’t keep it to myself, any longer. This sleepy, simple little town had a lot of explaining to do. When I told the truth about what really happened that morning, this modest town sure started squirming.

But, why?

I had no idea what was really going on behind all those closed doors. Now, I know all about it. All of it. Shocked, confused, dazed, and stunned, I know only one thing for certain. This town will never be the same.

Never! I was instantly pulled into this story, With every chapter I read I grew more and more captivated. This is a quick read but it packs a punch.
