Review - 30 Minutes or Less by Matthew Vaughn

30 Minutes of Less By Matthew Vaughn Publication date ‏ : ‎ March 14, 2019 Print length ‏ : ‎ 39 pages

Bella has the house to herself for the weekend. She invited a couple of her close friends over to watch some movies. They order some pizza and listen to some music. But when the pizza arrives they get more than they were expecting. Now their night of harmless fun has tuned into a night of pure terror.

From the author of Hellsworld Hotel comes an extreme horror, home invasion story in the vain of Slumber Party Massacre and The Strangers.

What should have been a fun night for a group of friends quickly becomes a nightmare. Bella and a few friends are hanging out and having a good time until the pizza delivery guy shows up. From here everything changes, and the group must fight to stay alive.

The book started off a bit slow for me, but it did pick up eventually. I enjoyed the few slasher elements in the book I just wish there would have been more details given about what happened to a couple of the characters. Extreme horror was mentioned in the blurb, but I think it was a bit too mild for that. Overall, it was still a decent read and I look forward to Part Two to see how it all ends.
