Dying Sheep Jesse D' Angelo The year is 1980.
Your phone line has been cut.
Your tires have been slashed.
You are completely isolated, and infamous serial killer Marvin Brumlow has returned from the grave to kill you.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
Marvin Brumlow never had an easy life. Picked on in school, alienated by his peers, and shunned and abused by his parents. It’s no surprise that Marvin turned out the way he did.
Get ready to jump back into the 80s with this book. The author did a brilliant job capturing the era and of course all the slasher elements. Slashers are like my love language, so this was right up my alley! Some of the deaths were creative, and I may have laughed at a couple of them. I loved the author’s take on Hell and what happens there. Very unique and it made things extremely entertaining.
Even as the bad man, I found Marvin to be a great character. He’s done awful things, but the author still manages to make me develop a soft spot for him. I really hope we will see more of Marvin in the future.
If you enjoy slashers and gore with some humor laced in, definitely give this one a read. It’s quick but brutal.
