Review - Into this World by Chad Farmer

Into this World Chad Farmer Warren, after being estranged from his evil and sadistic cult mother Rune (who believes in aliens) and a brainwashed sister, attempts to lead a normal life with his wife and soon-to-be-born son.

However, things don't go as planned when Alamathea kidnaps the newborn baby. Warren is forced to once again face the family he once fled from. Rune has otherworldly plans for her grandson which involve an "elite extra-terrestrial" race. Now Warren must fight for his and his son's life against and an unknown and terrifying agenda.

Warren manages to escape his mother’s cult “The Eternal Flesh of the Zeno-Followers”. Unfortunately, that meant leaving his girlfriend, too. Twenty years later he meets Laurie, and all is well until an unexpected visitor comes. All it says to Warren is “This was meant to be”. Warren just knew this being was sent by his mother. Knowing this, he still isn’t fully prepared for what follows.

Farmer created quite a tale with aliens and alien/human hybrids. This story is drenched in gore and riddled with suffering all for Rune’s gain. It was a bit sad to see what her followers were willing to do for her. Lots of tragedy that ultimately leaves Warren with a big decision to make.
