Review - Never Grow Up by Neil Ruttenberg

Never Grow Up by Neil Ruttenberg Serial Killer Thrillers Publication date ‏ : ‎ June 28, 2021 Print length ‏ : ‎ 211 pages

A madman who believes he is Peter Pan kidnaps teenage girls to be his Wendy and kills them on their 18th birthday. Ex-cop and reality show producer, Robert Hook and a disfigured young woman named Croc are the only ones who can stop Pan from sacrificing his next victim. This is the Peter Pan story taken to a new level.

Ruttenberg puts a very dark spin on the tale of Peter Pan. Never Grow Up is very gripping. It is full of twists and compelling characters.

Pan was a very strange but intriguing character. I found myself wanting to know more about him and what made him tick. Roger Hook was another character that grabbed my attention. When he started digging into the disappearance of Lily, I couldn’t put the book down. When he meets up with Croc things get intense as they search for Pan and the missing girl. From here everything gets insanely dark and disturbing as they uncover the truth about what is happening with Pan and The Lost Boys.

This was a wonderful book that I didn’t want to put down. Ruttenberg did a fantastic job from start to finish. I look forward to reading more from this author.
