Review - Order of the Void by Robert Vaughn

Order of the Void by Robert Vaughn Occult Horror Publication date ‏ : ‎ November 14, 2020 Print length ‏ : ‎ 270 pages Internet vlogger Jeffery Bailey, attends the funeral of his dead best friend. While at the funeral Jeffery is given a package from his friend's mother. After looking through the contents of the package, Jeffery learns that it was more than just a simple home invasion that took the life of his friend.

Jeffrey Bailey receives a shoebox at his best friend’s funeral. What he finds inside is very peculiar and this sets him off on a mission to uncover what these items are about and what exactly happened to his friend Bret.

Vaughn opens strong with this book and doesn’t let off. As Jeffrey starts to unravel things with the cult the book becomes increasingly intense. He continues to document his findings to his followers and the dangers grow stronger. When Natalie (an ex cult member) turns up and spills a bunch of new info on the cult, I felt like things were really going to get crazy. I was concerned for Jeffrey and wondered if him pursuing things with this cult was worth it. Even with all the obstacles in his way he continued. The twist at the end was unexpected and made for a very thrilling read!

I really enjoyed the darkness and mystery within the pages as well as the first person narrative. It really fit with the vlogger aspect and was a terrific way to connect with the main character. Vaughn’s writing is fantastic, and I cannot wait to read more of his work in the future. Indie Book Addict Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Click the book cover to grab your copy.
